Andy Chapman brings more than 25 years of global technology leadership experience to SkyeVantage. His career has focused on solving complex problems, improving processes, and helping customers get the support they need. He has led global technical support organizations for enterprise computer software used by many of the largest Fortune 500 companies, spanning technologies from mainframe systems to cloud platforms and artificial intelligence.
His professional background includes certifications in DB2 mainframe database technology, Knowledge-Centered Service, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt process improvement. Most recently, Andy spent four years leading the global Project Management Office for an international company that provides support services to software organizations. That combination of technical problem-solving and disciplined project management gives him a practical, customer-focused approach: understand the issue, solve it the right way, and deliver results with quality, efficiency, and cost awareness.
A longtime member of the local community, Andy has lived in Westmont for 30 years and has worked in Oakbrook Terrace and Lisle for much of his career. He and his wife raised their two children locally, both of whom graduated from Westmont High School and continued their education in the Chicagoland area. A proud dance parent for many years, Andy has supported his children through company dance, school performances, and the many community activities that come with raising a family in the area.
Service is an important part of Andy’s life. He and his wife are active members of their Downers Grove congregation, where they each spend more than 50 hours a month volunteering. His wife also has deep local ties, having taught grade school at Lester School in Downers Grove before staying home to raise their children.
After retiring from corporate life, Andy was drawn to SkyeVantage because of the opportunity to take an entrepreneurial path rooted in honesty, transparency, and community impact. Having recently gone through the roof replacement process himself, he understands how much fear, uncertainty, and doubt homeowners can feel. SkyeVantage’s commitment to changing the model, doing what is right for the customer, and serving the community strongly aligned with his values.
A self-described skeptic by nature, Andy appreciates straightforward answers, real value, and a transparent process. Through SkyeVantage, he hopes to help homeowners make confident decisions while also creating part-time local jobs that provide a living wage for people who prioritize volunteer service in their lives.
Outside of work and service, Andy is a summer enthusiast, value finder, and community volunteer who enjoys musicals, Broadway shows, thought-provoking sci-fi and fantasy, and turn-based strategy video games.
